C STILL FUCKING LOVES B. It's only a slight change right now but actually a fairly big one! Since up til now C has mostly just been like a hyper protective but aloof big brother type thing. He's told B a lot of things but never reallyyyyy...tried to dump a lot on him?
AND THEN HE STARTED TAKING MEMORIES AGAIN. Bad idea!! BAD IDEA!!
He hates the murder game memories! So much! And while by default he tries to keep it mostly to himself, the stuff he has told B was in fact relieving; especially due to the fact that he knows B knows what's Up from a different perspective from Silver, so he's far more relaxed with B calling out his bullshit and laughing at his villain act. It's just a nice reassurance that no matter what, his bond with B prooooobably won't break (which is something he was scared about with Silver/Gold/others, and why he was more hesitant to share with them).
So just that, reaffirmation that B will always be on his side (so far) is very grounding for him!! He is still HYPER PROTECTIVE especially knowing B is dead now, so while he doesn't have much faith in what happens to himself in the future, he will probably end up focusing all his energy in giving B a happy ending, somehow.
AS FOR BECOMING A GOD, some of it will depend on what Exael says (he is going to ask to confirm if they can go to different worlds if they're dead, since it's not ICly confirmed yet I think) but when I'm less dead he'll also be doing more Big Events and trying to draw more support to himself. Really the only thing stopping him is me being so fucking ooc busy.
B is not that surprised by the Murder Game bullshit C is involved in. He knew people would die, he knew C wouldn't want to die, and he knew C wouldn't be able to just stand by as an idle participant either without doing something weird. B does think the mastermind stuff is beyond stupid but he also gets why he did it and sees it ultimately came from a good place. B wouldn't be able to make that kind of sacrifice so he's pretty in awe of how much C is willing to put himself on the line. What a cool brother. But also still a dumbass in the end.
B is honestly so relieved about C dumping on him because he knows how much C keeps shit bottled up. And also that he's not being...sheltered? He knows sometimes people just want to shelter him and that can be annoying.
So he's so glad he and C are now in a place where C can really rely on him share everything, even his worst side. And likewise it opens the door for B to be more comfortable doing the same back and gives him more freedom to unload on C. Because it has to be an exchange to feel right to B.
NOW BEING DEAD IS. A weird numbing thing to think about that B can't focus on. If he does he has some sort of crisis about Not Existing Anymore and it's weird because he does currently exist??? Also sometimes fixating on the feeling of being shot in a weird way. B picks at scabs physically and emotionally so it's all stuff his mind drifts back to time to time without meaning to. It's frustrating and helpless and hopeless and he doesn't know what to think so he just tries to. Not.
But he wants a happy ending so badly that he just aches all over.
Semi covered in my answer to Silver below!! HE HATES IT ALL but also feels trapped by it? Because he does not have great faith in his odds of surviving that bullshit. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't need those memories here, and is only taking them now because it'd be stupid to only let Maki and X be informed while he remained ignorant. With Medusa/Korekiyo here too that also urges him to take some later much to his disdain; he just hates not knowing what's going on.
But for the most part, to him? The past is the past, and he wants nothing more than to move on from it, but he feels caught in a cycle. Feels bad!!
What's something B's been wanting to do but holding back?
It's a bad thing to want to do but also he's like. Exhausted all the time and it all feels hopeless and why is he trying when he could just keep his head down, stop doing lives, stop making friends, and live in his safety bubble where he doesn't have to worry about more than his handful of people.
But giving up means he no longer pretends to have agency so he clings onto doing stuff because its at least SOMETHING he can do.
Also like all the roleplay makeouts and sex with Gold. But he doesn't want to be gross or overwhelming so he is like no dont b. Like he's not this horny on other situations but Imeeji is just. Such a barren wasteland of comforts that physical affection ranks pretty high right now. He's WAY MORE CUDDLY in imeeji than canon. Cuz he's desperate for SOMETHING.
And like of course emotionally grinding Okami into the ground because he's a petty baby about the dodgeball live still oops.
B has the advantage of basically making him the first person everyone in Alcheme imprints on and WHILE C RECOGNIZES THIS NOT SO LOWKEY MANIPULATION, he can also respect it lolol
but aside from the bond and trust they've built up, C very quickly recognized, despite all his anime bullshit, B is probably. . .the most normal of Alcheme? Headspace-wise; it may be a tie between N and B. But B is young, and has simple desires. He wants a family! He wants people not to be hurt! He wants to have a boyfriend and play dumb games and draw! Simple, pure desires. C also sees B as a genuinely good person, and so far none of his memories have contradicted that. So for every horrible thing that happens, C just feels B doesn't deserve it. None of them do, of course, but for B especially! And in a way, C recognizes he wants all the same things that B does, but he's already decided he can't have them/doesn't deserve them, so might as well put his time and energy into making sure B gets them all in the end.
For the most part he's fairly lowkey with this? Since in public, C tries not to show how fucking attached he is to some people. It hasn't come up but he would do all in his power to get someone fucking murdered if they messed with B in the wrong way. He also generally tries to misdirect any bad vibes toward B to himself, since B is the Face of Alcheme in his opinion, so if C does something, he wants people to think "oh C is the bad child exception" and let B continue to save face.
HILARIOUSLY Mori's disappearance will make C even more protective and he'll try to even do more Good by B; he still feels really guilty for potentially wrecking Mori's chance with B, so all he can do to make it up is make sure B is as happy as possible.
Basically he's lowkey yan for B but thankfully nothing has really happened to set him off bad!!!

How does C see his "rivalry" with Intensity playing out?
C is not disillusioned about DESTROYING HELL and does not think that's possible, since if Heaven Exists, its counterpart must exist too!
So if Intensity takes over hell, C thinks he will either 1) hostile takeover and become the new Azzy. He doesn't think Intensity will stop hell from recruiting people, but does think he'll find a more efficient, less cruel method and that's a win in his eyes.
OR if he can't change the system, he trusts that Intensity will get the people out that matter, and at the very least, their cycle can conclude with as quickly as possible.
On C's end, if they both do end up accomplishing their goals, C is more than willing to offer a compromise to maintain balance. There are plenty of shitty people in the world that deserve damnation, so C will gladly kick some down there for him!!
What does B think about this vague uncertain plan?
He knows Intensity and C are serious about doing it but he is very unsure if they will ever have the means to get there. That said, having a concrete goal is more than MOST PEOPLE have and he's certain the two can work together in cooperation without turning things into a complete garbage fire. And he also believes they're the ones who could make the hard choices and sacrifices possibly NEEDED for this sort of thing.
So it's all weird and fucked up but if anyone can do it it's them. That said: he rather they all have happy lives somewhere safe instead. But he knows...he knows...
It's too impossible to get to no matter what he wants. Which is heartbreaking when he thinks about it.
How is C feeling about the mental health of twins + alcheme?
Not QUITE as concerned as he was as of now, aside from lowkey vibrating about B being dead! Gold seems the most Together in the sense he's been looking out for them/trying to do nice things/willing to be intimate with B despite depression so thats good!! Silver is in better spirits now that all his people are back and also he just fucking murdered C in the feelings, and B keeping his AlcheMe face game up to the point of impressiveness now.
So mostly he knows B is a little fucked because /GESTURES AT IMEEJI BEING IMEEJI and is ready to support him, but feels like they're all in a fairly....okay place right at this moment, and wants to continue to move it upward in a positive swing, just in case something comes to fuck them over sooner or later.
PHYSICAL AFFECTION is the huge one to be honest. B isn't very touchy in canon but Imeeji lacks so many comforts that he grabs onto anything he can. I LOVE SO MANY DANGANS. X/Kaito is the most relevant to him for Spoiler Reasons, but I'd love Shuichi, Kaede, and Miu.
Shuichi because he is the target of most of Ouma's antagonizing and C would likely pretend not to know him and utterly harass him and specifically target him because that's just how C do, NOTHING SUBTLE THERE.
Kaede because she is the True Protag and had potential for a very cool dynamic with Ouma that we don't get to see play out, but he'd probably end up treating her the same as Shuichi. OUMA JUST LOVES BULLYING PROTAGS
Miu because she was the closest thing to a Friend for Ouma but then womp womp sometimes u gotta murder your friends oops!! They'd be awful, horrible mean girls but a terrible team and I want it.

He has a lot of ever looping self hate and constantly says stuff in canon like "Everyone hates me so the role of villain would be perfect for me!" and "Just kidding, no one would be sad if I died!" As he is now, he doesn't think he'd do anything differently, since a lot of is decisions were based off of "I can't trust anyone else in this actual death game but me" and the one person he DID try to trust tried to murder him soooo oops!!
Right now there aren't many differences between them aside from the fact that a good handful of people have crashed through his trust barrier with a fucking bulldozer, so C is far more willing to trust others and be slightly less pessimistic than his former self. He is still Worried though and some future memories will call into question just how stable he was even BEFORE the murder game because he may or may not have volunteered for this shit, jazz hands.
If Silver's canon self could say anything to his current self what would it be and vice versus?
Not much to be honest? Aside from generally sniping at each other about being a good two-shoes or other harshing on himself nonsense. Despite there being a lot of key differences between the two...fundamentally they're not too far apart?
Silver is definitely more social than Atsumu, but even still he keeps his sincere feelings and trust and caring to a very small group. Unfortunately no matter how much Silver tries to get away from PR, he really can't at this point? And it's working out for him in keeping his life relativelyyyyyyyyyyyyyy peaceful.
Silver is just as much as a try-hard as Atsumu, if not more so by this point. If he wasn't exhausting himself with PR, it would be something else.
So, there's nothing one could say to the other that wouldn't still apply to their self in another way? Can't tell himself to chill because both know no chill. Can't tell himself to be less/more of a dick because both are equally dick. Can't tell himself to be more open because they're each more open in one way but more closed off in the other.

Anyway we have little to no information on their ~real selves~ and no confirmation as to how they ended up on the show! WERE THEY KIDNAPPED? DID THEY AUDITION? IT'S A MYSTERY. At the beginning of the game they all recognize the monokubs (presumably from watching the show), but two of them also remember being forcibly kidnapped/knocked out before their memories get wiped! Then at the end of the game we're told they're all actually crazy rapid fans of Dangan Ronpa and volunteered to be on the show! SO WHAT IS THE TRUTH
For my sanity I've decided on a decent medium; he was definitely aware of the show and probably even enjoyed it from a distance (like morbid curiosity of IF I WAS IN THIS SITUATION I'D DO X like watching cutthroat kitchen but instead of mystery baskets you watch kids die) but never wanted to be anywhere near it it! BUT OOPS GOT HIS ASS KIDNAPPED AND SIGNATURE FORGED TO BE ON IT jazz hands.
He likely wasn't much different personality wise since the memories they brainwashed them with were just supposed to have a placebo affect (SURE YOU'RE AN ULTIMATE SUPREME LEADER, ROLL WITH THAT), and also, even with being brainwashed, Ouma figured out very early that 1) their memories were fake and 2) this is a fucking show what the fuck are we doing here. All his big talk and villain persona are just something he made up himself to make himself more appealing to the audience and make the other students fear him so he could survive longer.
As for his gang and all even he eventually realizes they don't actually Exist he likely had something similar in the real world; whether it was an actual gang or just, a very enthusiastic dnd group is undecided yet. I remembered reading somewhere in the artbook that due to his school uniform he probably came from a fairly well off family before he fucked off to whatever, so that probably lends itself to why he embraces more outlandish things.
THAT ALL SAID he is definitely a nerd and super enjoys games more than anything,so his habit of lying and poker faces is probably all him and not a result of his brainwashing. He also is deliberately given a bunch of ygo refs so he's just, just a weird little nerd.

Loves weird shit but thats canon, but isn't a big meat eater. He will, but if not being watched and left to his own devices, his ideal meal is a light soup and some tea.

We don't know much about the twins parents? We do see the twins getting in trouble with the coach and stuff for fighting, but parents are never called or mentioned or ANYTHING despite it being clear disciplinary action is happening. We do know too that Atsumu, who is very hard to deter from stuff, can be immediately shut down just by implying it would make his grandmother sad. So, it's pretty clear in my opinion that Atsumu must be a massive grandma's boy.
Another couple things we know is that the twins live in the boonies of Hyogo prefecture, which is part of the Kansai region, and that the twins are pretty much self sufficient? From the glimpses of homelife we get to see in canon, it's pretty clear they are raising themselves; judging from meals/going out/discipline/seeing Kita's grandma at games but no one there for the twins/etc. It's my guess and I've been running with the idea that the twins must've been dumped off at grandma's while parents worked in a bigger city and now that they're teens, they basically just live on their own together maybe with grandma check ins or live with grandma.
Again, something we ACTUALLY know is that Atsumu has no friends throughout junior high. Once volleyball took over, he became a bit ruthless and blunt and hyper focused. We know twins actually started playing volleyball in grade school and that, even before volleyball took over, when they're seeing volleyball for the first time they are at the workshop sitting together STILL without friends and opting to talk about the other kids between themselves rather than approach other kids.
So, I've basically been running with both twins actually having grown up very socially awkward and co-dependent. There's a lot of allusions in canon that basically imply Atsumu never cared about being agreeable because he would always have Osamu. Yeah the allusions refer to Osamu always being there to receive his serves, but we know how sports manga are. Always being there for the ball means always being there for Atsumu. SO! Basically, Osamu, despite encouraging Atsumu to try to get along with other kids, sort've enabled Atsumu to be a dick. In the sense that, Atsumu trusts that no matter what he's like, Osamu will always be there for him so he doesn't need to play nice with others.
I know Ten agrees with me on the Osamu side of that too...Where Osamu is co-dependent on Atsumu. Osamu looks out for Atsumu, bullies Atsumu when others are too scared to in order to keep him in check, and generally calls Atsumu out on his bullshit. Taking care of/looking out for Atsumu is pretty clearly a big thing for Osamu and it has come up in Imeeji a couple times that Gold winds up feeling lost when he's not needed to look out for Silver.
In canon, with volleyball, we get to see that Osamu was actually naturally better at setting, but Atsumu was driven and worked hard and got better than Osamu. We don't see how they are with school work, but I run with the assumption that Osamu being a natural and Atsumu having to work hard applies to schoolwork too. And, with social stuff, we see that Osamu cares more about getting along with others, but pretty clearly works at it? So I've always run with Atsumu being a bit more of a natural at getting along with people, even if he doesn't CARE about getting along with others.
We see in canon that Atsumu expects more of Osamu than Osamu expects of himself. In canon we know Atsumu holds Osamu and everyone to the same standards he holds himself too and doesn't see those standards as odd. He clearly thinks Osamu and others are capable of what he is and I believe it's a weird mix of he doesn't think THAT highly of himself and that he does think VERY highly of others abilities; the main difference stated in canon is he just sincerely loves volleyball more than the others do, he has a passion they don't.
Inarizaki uses a LOT of intimidation tactics. They do very statement entrances, their banner and uniforms are very severe, they present themselves as very unified and controlled and confident, etc... One of the MAIN tactics they use is their big band. Which plays insanely loud and at this crazy rhythm that throws other teams off. The band KNOWS to shut up the second Atsumu goes to serve. And yet, despite being used to huge bands playing, all it takes is a couple fans cheering to distract him when he does serve and the other fans warn the two girls because not making noise when Atsumu serves is clearly a KNOWN thing. So, I definitely play it that Atsumu is very sensitive to noise and crowds. He can handle it for games, but he can't focus when there's noise.
SO: 1) Atsumu is a grandma's boy 2) Twins were raised by/live with grandma 3) Twins socially awkward because of having a built in friend and not needing other kids 4) Osamu is the natural at all things except socializing and Atsumu has to work hard at everything but does have a natural draw when it comes to people 5) Atsumu, despite being cocky, doesn't actually see himself as that amazing, even though he works incredibly hard 6) Atsumu is very sensitive to noise and crowds 7) Osamu/Atsumu headcanon that applies to Gold/Silver: Twins love amusement parks, crane games, checking out new vending machines, conbinis and designer shoes (waiting in line at shoe releases is fun)
Some Silver habits...
1) Repetition Growing up we see him practicing alone a lot. And we see him having to do a lot of repetitive motions (tossing a ball and catching, bouncing a ball off a wall, etc). Muscle memory is a huge thing for Silver, so repetitive motions can be really calming for him. Things like braiding hair can be really calming for him after huge lives. 2) Music Silver listens to music a lot when he's trying to be anti-social. He got headphones and a few non idol albums because if he's running and listening to music, people can't talk to him. However, he does just wind up listening to music to calm down too because it's a nice even volume constant noise that can blur out other noises. 3) Grooming How social Silver is feeling can be pretty clear via what he's wearing. Sweats are a clear indicator he wants to be alone or just stick close to tinies/gold/wc. We get a lot of clear indicators in canon that the twins dress up to go out...but also around house are in sweats and in side stories can be seen in sweats bee-lining for kotatsu. Silver mostly dresses up for pr purposes, but on his own would honestly just live his best homebody sweats and sweatshirt life. 4) Plucking at fabric Since Osamu was always the voice of reason/mom twin I have a feeling Atsumu held onto him a lot; his hand, his sleeve, etc So, subconsciously, Silver will pluck at people's clothes or try to hold onto their sleeves when he's feeling uneasy or uncomfortable or needy, etc.
Three things C is good at and three he's bad at. Things he wishes he was good at? Also C on his own appearance.
C is GREAT at: -Strategy/Games! He loves loves LOVES games and part of his character is a nod/shout out to YGO antagonists! He doesn't always play to win, and far more enjoys the experience overall, and will deliberately lose if it means a more fun game overall. That said, he looooves games that make him think (one of his favorite gifts is just, a puzzle, except it's nothing but a blank white puzzle!!) and he's generally good at plotting out steps far more ahead than necessary.
-Reading people/empathy! For as emotionally constipated as he is and his tendency to drive others away, he is generally pretty good at reading the mood and hyper aware of the feelings of others! Sometimes just so he can like....use it to his advantage and bully them, but USUALLY he will try to turn that on his head and offer some weird support, in a way.
-Cooking; he can actually cook just fine should he desire to do so, he's just very lazy and why cook something when someone could make it better?? or buy it! He doesn't have to combine weird shit but will do it anyway because he'll get bored otherwise.
BAD AT: -Relying on others. He's smart, but sometimes too smart in that teenager way where he thinks he's superior to others and Only He Can Handle Shit. Never works out!!
-Sleeping, because Imeeji, which he's really annoyed about because sleeping is one of his favorite thing to do in canon, and one the top gifts you can give him is a hammock to nap in.
-trying new things. he falls into habits very, very easy, despite being overall creative. We know he's actually surprisingly fit; he's good at weaving and dodging and getting away from people, and even Maki acknowledges that he lied when he said he "doesn't know how to fight." (tho he's a noodle and would lose anyway). BUT he hates sweating and normal exercise, so any time the protag tries to get him to do any real exercise or like, drag him into the sun he's like "hahah wow this is awful BYE" it takes a lot to drag him out and get him to do something he doesn't want.
-headcanon wise i say he's pretty bad at animals; doesn't dislike them or anything, just neutral and has trouble reading animal body language that isn't obvious/common knowledge.
Appearance wise his tendency to look like a scrappy gremlin hobo is very deliberate. In canon we find out he actually loves bright colors and has some ridiculous eye searing orange/striped underwear, but he prefers being contradictory and a tease where no one can see. Why are you like this.
In general he dresses the way he does solely to get a reaction from others and likes seeing what impression he leaves. Same for when he does actually clean up proper, it's more about the reactions for him. He does a loooot of running around though, so outside of a school uniform, he's very comfortable in his hobo clothes. In canon its implied his uniform is basically meant to throw people of;: you wouldn't want to mess with someone in a straitjacket!! But also;;; he wears clown slippers with it. And a cape. But he canonly loves military style shit too. Pretty much if he loves something, he will wear the opposite of it, or mix and match it, whatever he thinks will draw people's eyes to him.
How is Silver right now??? Good because all his people are back?? What are his current goals now that things have stabilized?
Mm, the main thing about Atsumu is despite being a HUGE hardass on the entire team....it's literally just because he loves volleyball so much. Of course he likes to win and doesn't like to lose, but tbh he only really gets excited against strong competitors. Competing against strong competitors and trying new things in the middle of a game > playing it safe and taking home an easy win.
ANYWAYS! As for Silver right now... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...he really is pretty good? He's of course INSANELY relieved to have C, B, Aries and Haruto back. That was a huge weight on his mind. He's of course got a lot of other things floating around in his mind, but he's trying not to worry about them and just focus on what he can do rather than what he can't. He's annoyed with the community as a whole, but there's no changing them, so he can't waste energy on caring about that. Same as he knows he can't force B and C to come home with him and Gold. All he can do is offer and keep on keeping on. He's trying to worry less since it's pretty clear him worrying winds up worrying everyone else. So. Less!!! Worry!!! Attempting anyways...
Other worries/thoughts right now: Destroy Lucifel (I joke) (But seriously he could scream over him putting the responsibility for keeping him in check and killing him on Talon), not being able to see people again after imeeji, what life is there for b and c after imeeji..., not being able to assimilate back into normal life after imeeji (a lot of after imeeji stuff apparently), Gold, the fact John has considered killing everyone on WC and may be close to a mental break of sorts, implication of repeating games (seriously doubts he'll be lucky enough to miss the house if it comes around again), etc.
Current goals: Keep storing away points (he's at about 13k rn) alongside his profile edit and azzy's card, possibly get exoskeleton ability since everyone is weird about bloodlessness, more lives (once he recovers from bug debate live), teach Plover to read, help B with his studies in case he does wind up coming with them so he can go to the same school and grade level, try to do some self help and healing re: fixing shit this place has done to him so its not a lasting effect (anxiety and fears being the main ones), do fun!!! things!!! with!!! the!!! boys!!!!, still reading the book he heard the demons discussing in Azzy's level
CR Update and talk to me about how you expected C might evolve in game versus how he actually evolved, how would C settle in (or not) if he did wind up going home with twins and B? Are there any other worlds he has considered going to?
C!! LOEV SILVER!!! SO MUCH!!! Like Twins/B have always been up there but now Silver has firmly injected himself in C's cold heart like a parasitic worm.
C really, really does not like unloading his issues on other people since to him, every time he does it, it seems like a sign of weakness, vulnerability, and a lack of control. He's gotten far more comfortable doing so with B, though getting there was a ride itself (he tricked B into taking a selfie only to steal his phone when he did in order to confirm he'd been buying memories and eventually B told him he was dead. ALCHEME!1) BUT between all the canon memories and maki losing her shit and he and X not having any damn idea what's going on, he was just, having a Time.
And aside from Maki and X dragging him kicking and screaming back to canon memory trauma, for the first time in a long while he was feeling actual guilt! over things said and done in imeeji!! He has no idea how to stop Talon's 'go to hell an save everyone' train, and Mori leaving just made him feel awful, since he never properly apologized for all psychological bullying and gaslighting. On top of that he knows his very existence and penchant to just be..him, combined with canon shenanigans, stresses out B, and he knows the twins have their own shit going on!! He doesn't want to add to it! He wants to appear strong and have his shit together! HE HAS HIS SHIT SO TOGETHER!!!
Except he doesn't and it's been weighing on him like hell. He puts a lot of effort into trying to lowkey listen and help others, but he's at a point where he can't realistically keep doing that AND keep up his charade, and he's increasingly frustrated/annoyed/ashamed that more and more people are seeing through him.
THEN HERE COMES SILVER. The twins have always been a Calming force where C can just, catch his breath for a minute, but again, he doesn't really enjoy putting any burdens on them. Silver specifically dunked on him and scored a critical hit by declaring they were all best friends which was very ???? to C overall. Like, he considers everyone he likes as a lowkey friend, but he assumes he is not THEIR friend, and is perfectly okay with that. You don't have to be friends with someone to care for them and/or manipulate them or recruit them into your gang slash cult!! IT'S FINE. He's just so used to keeping that distance, and he still doesn't remember his canon gang yet, so as far as he knows, he's always just been Alone, but people seeking.
So to have someone he does actually trusts actually proclaim they're legiitmate friends was a bit math meme to him but it also made him feel so good?? A FRIEND...ACTUAL FRIEND...NOT BUSINESS PARTNER OR BROTHER, JUST, A FRIEND. He's friends with Duality and Mori and Eclipse too of course, but he puts them on different levels. Utterly loves them!! But figures when time is up he'll fade out of their memories, and vice versus.
Which is ideally what he'd want for Gold and Silver too!!! They had some good times! JUST FORGET ABOUT ME. He wants nothing more than Gold, Silver, and B to live out their lives somewhere safe and happy and normal and to also just forget about him because he's pretty sure he won't be able to follow. He's ready to cut ties! Or so he thought! Since memory loss showed him, oh no, ACTUALLY, I WANT THIS, I WANT FRIENDS, THEY ARE MINE?? HOW DARE YOU. Possessive lowkey yan little gremlin, and he's mad at himself that he let himself get in so deep with attachment.
And now that they have reached BESTIE STATUS, that put even more pressure on C to not want to emotion dump on them, and thus he is just in a cycle of stupid stubbornness, which is why he literally laid face down on the platform during the balloon game. JUST TAKE ME ALREADY, WORLD. But again for twins, there's a level of trust there he doesn't have with others, and since Silver is so vulnerable with him, C eventually figured it's only fair that he open up more, too.
It also helps that Silver just called him the fuck out on his liar face bullshit, nothing to be done about that!!
Ramble ramble BASICALLY C's had to do a bunch of mental gymnastics but he's pretty much ready to be far more open with Silver than before, now that his emotional gauntlet has been destroyed. And he's glad for it too! He doesn't need to reel himself in around Silver, they're both catty and bitchy and have a tendency for manic impulses and are the worst enablers at times. He loves it!! There are still some things he's cautious about dropping (HEY SILVER WANNA HEAR ABOUT DEATH VIA TOILET PAPER STRANGULATION ALSO GUESS HOW FAST PIRANHAS CAN EAT A DEAD BODY) but he is going to try to be less liar face around him. As for how C could have developed, Ari super talked me into apping because up til now I'd never played anyone who really Clicked with Kano, and I thought well hey, might as well give it a shot!! I DID NOT...THINK HE'D END UP SO CODEPENDENT. It's been very new and very fun. I knew I wanted to play him as an asshole too so I'm delighted that he's been able to reel some of that in and actually like, form legitimate connections with people! I was worried he'd be TOO shallow/liar face, but haha!!
Hilariously, I wasn't married to the idea of Alcheme and Wild City was the runner up choice on my app. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY DIFFERENT and I doubt he and Kano would become as close as they are now. They'd probably hate each other, sob.

BOTH. I'll start with being forced onto another team... If Silver were forced on another team, he'd be concerned about what he had done to deserve it or to what end it had been done, first and foremost. He wouldn't chalk it up to unity disparity, because even though he is the least "Wild", he's also been tht way since day one. IF they were going to punish him for being off-brand, they would've done it months ago when he was at his MOST soft....and not now when he's becoming a little more cynical to the community. There's no way they'd decide to swap him for disparity four months in. That said, his best guess would be that it was done to shake things up or put other teams on their toes or rattle Wild City.
Least worst scenario would obviously be to wind up on Avante where he could look after and hopefully protect Gold in games. As much as he loev C and B, he knows his presence on Alceme would probably??? be very??? stressful??? He at least knows he wouldn't be able to change their play style of rolling over and dying.
Other units...he couldn't really handle? No other unit is as tight knit as WC and he wouldn't be able to swap loyalties that fast. He'd feel uncomfortable as the new comer to a different team because he'll have lost his seniority/say/ability to protect Gold. He would do his best to claw back to the top and get his way, especially since he wouldn't be sincerely invested in a new teams feelings the way he is WC's. He doesn't see himself really fitting in with any other team at this point? If asked, he really couldn't picture it.
Obviously Silver himself is PRETTY DAMN STOCKHOLM'D to Wild City. And they adore him back. He knows him being off unit would be very stressful for THEM because they won't want to hit whatever team he's on, not to mention it would be stressful for HIM because he wouldn't be sure how damn rough Wild City would play without him there to temper them. So whatever his selfish feelings are aside, there is a concern??? for the community involved in this too (even if he and B are in 'the community doesnt deserve our hard work' club).
His first instinct would be to switch right back onto WC! But...He's trying to hoard his resources, so he'd be really loathe to use his profile edit to switch back....especially because there's always the chance they could just....swap him AGAIN. So, initially, he may wait and see how he feels and what WC does in response.
I'll do CR when I wake up, but for now...how DO you think C would have been if he had wound up on WC? Who would he be close to, who wouldn't he be close to, how would it change his personality and goals in imeeji, what powers would he like best, who would he be closest to on team, how would be handle WC's early on play style and such?
C's entire being as he is now is because he woke up, read why they were here and the blurb on AlcheMe so he IMMEDIATELY went into liar face mode and fucking embraced the role he was given on survival instinct
SO IF HE HAS WOKEN UP ON WILD CITY he would have done the same just, in a different direction and far less liar face! He'd still default to doing it, just because it's him, but he would have had a longer open window of 'real'ness to him, in a way. But he'd immediately just accept the role and honestly now thinking about it, with WC's initial lives of non-verbal communication he'd be a horrible mime gremlin and in people's personal space EVEN MORE. But he'd also be a little less chatty as a deliberate choice, just to make people uncomfortable. You gotta work with what you're given!!!
Also, assuming the team was nearly the same as it is now, while he is innately, at his core, a pacifist, he would absolutely encourage the team to play hard and be positive when they do so despite hating it deep down. It's what the producers want, and it stops THEM from eating shit so much, so gotta roll with it!! Even on AlcheMe as he is now, he actually is not against playing hard, and will absolutely do so if he thinks a Time Has Come. Just so far, IC, there has never been a moment where voluntarily playing hard has had pros outweigh the cons. AlcheMe eats shit a good bit, but not nearly as much as other teams, so! Swapping that mentality to Wild City's case, C would have assessed their popularity and insular nature, and ruled that playing hard far more benefits them than not, so he wouldn't be nearly as fussed about it.
He proooobably would still get attached to Silver? It could swing wildly either way; either he'd get hyper attached and overly codependent and unhealthily possessive over Silver (and possibly Talon, maybe Haruto??), or he would like them all evenly but keep them at a distance, since his base person is far different than most of Wild City's standard. He would absolutely HATE B and all of Alcheme, because he canonly hates other liars/people like him. The only reason he loves Alcheme now is because he is one of them.
POWER WISE my top three animals for him were: pony, snake, and bat/crow. Pony because horses are his theme animal, and they've got a general good range for someone who is as paranoid and defensive as he is (weird 360 vision, great hearing, speed, jumping, etc). Also i would have used mlp friendship is magic icons for his theme animal and no one could stop me.
Bat and crow because at first I liked bat so he could get wings and pretend to be a demon, but I'd lean more to crow/magpie because it fits him way better AND he'd have great vision, flight, and the ability to mimic voices which would just be hell for some people.
AND SNAKE BECAUSE LYING SNAKE that's literally it i didn't think hard on that one i just love the aesthetic.
Generally power wise, WC's set very much mimics the ones he uses most for Alcheme! Want to shrink?? JUST TURN INTO A TINY ANIMAL. Get shrunk?? TURN INTO AN ELEPHANT. He would abuse the animal power so much and there would just be a horse sleeping on someone's table. As long as he has a skillset that lets him Escape, he's happy.
He probably would still do the whole 'join my gang' bit, but he'd have no grander schemes for becoming a god, and would just be resigned to dying when his time in Imeeji was up. Probably would be a liiittle more receptive to becoming a demon though.
So tl;dr WC Ouma would be EVEN MORE of a violence instigator, still think he's a terrible awful person, and probably would be on a path to hell unless someone pulled him out of it, oops!! And the C & B bromance would never be 8'(
Silver can now have THREE THEME ANIMALS what does he get.
Beetle is ridiculously useful powerset wise, so he would keep it. Believe it or not though, he HAD considered using the profile edit to see if he could have two animals. His second choice would be fox just because it's what he could present as, people would be more receptive to it, and he could keep his actual abilities a secret and just pretend he only had fox. If he got fox back, he would be curious to see if it would be possible to get animal lore related abilities: I.e. shapeshifting for a fox. When they got to change animals, before he settled on beetle, he did consider snake for poison and strike speed purposes.

So, no surprise, Silver loev C too. Despite starting out firmly classified as "Gold's", Silver hasn't been able to help getting attached to C. As you might've seen with Yvette and Prim, once Gold classified them as "Silvers" friends, he put up a bit of a block between them. For C it as much the same where, as "Golds", Silver was resistant from befriending C truly himself. However, that didn't work out as planned and C is currently the only person he can comfortably talk to about most things. He talks to Gold and B about a LOT, but certain things are harder to talk to them about because 1) he doesn't want to depress them more or 2) cause them to stress out; plus talking to Gold about Gold is kinda, you know, hard if they're fighting. He talks to Wild City about a lot, but they're all VERY Silver biased; to the point that many of them say he can do no wrong. And even though he knows C stresses and is biased too, C at least can turn it off long enough to give real input; Mr. "no such thing as a bad connection".
THAT SAID, one of the main "updates" is just that more than ever he wants to return the favor. He wants C to be able to unload on him the way he unloads on C. He knows what a relief it can be to have someone to talk to that you know won't judge you and will just LISTEN and give their input without letting biases and worries color or sway the advice given. Or even just having someone to listen. He's done his best to convey, no matter what fucked up thing C may say or do, he'll accept it in stride and not suddenly disappear. IF HE CAN ACCEPT WILD CITY, HE CAN SURE AS HELL ACCEPT WHATEVER SHIT C HITS HIM WITH. There's also the fact that Silver doesn't even like perfectly "nice" people, since he himself has petty, bitchy tendencies. At his core, Silver sees C as good without being self righteous, nice without being naive and baseless, strategic and a realist while still managing to pull of fun and whimsical. Even the negative traits he's seen he either is chill with or relates to, so he's pretty sure C is vibrating in his skin just as much as Silver...he's just a better actor.
Plus..pluuuuuus......a part of it is selfishly wanting to see all sides of "C". All of them are important to him, even when C is trying to be "annoying". C is a bundle of contradictions and it's interesting. He's been laying down all his cards first because he knows he has to lead by example. Despite having a normal life, Silver really hasn't??? had a friend before??? Let alone a best friend (other than Gold, but Gold gets his own category)??? So he's just kinda deciding for himself and running with it what that entails. When it comes to things that matter to him, Silver is possessive, hardworking and a completionist. So why would friendship be any different?
Since day one Silver has been weird about using the friend word or making friends in general. He takes a long time to let people in, even longer to feel close to them, and even LONGER to actually in his sincere mind palace call them a friend. Part of it is due to memories about not being liked/not having friends and running with it, but he's also just naturally skittish about being close to people other than Gold.BUT NOW THAT HE'S HERE, GOOD LUCK GETTING RID OF HIS STUBBORN ASS.
He wanted to put C as friend on the kissing game submission sheet to show C publically that HEY. I mean it! You're my best friend! When he tried to fill the "closer to" section though, he really....doesn't....in general want to get closer to other people? He doesn't really want the complication of getting closer to people outside of the small circle he's wound up with. He wants to be able to get along with Coyote and Plover better, but he didn't want misunderstandings if he put them down there. So, to ensure the newbies felt cared about and welcome, since he knew there was a distance between them, he put them as friend and C as "closer to". Which, like I said, isn't wrong! Possessive sports boy is possessive and would crawl all over C if it wasn't for the fact that's kind of hard to do when he's a foot taller and a solid 70 lbs heavier.
Another major update as of late is Silver is basically on a mini mission to fix C's neck. At the current time he's mostly focused on hoarding resources (profile edit, Azzy's card, 17k points) and supporting C in his God efforts. He has started to and will continue to include checker print in all his lives; it was on the pet brushes for the animal crimes live, it'll be on the bowties and ears for the bunny bar, it'll be on the circus tent for lion tamer, etc etc.. He's always carried the bandana C gave him (usually tied to his ever present duffel bag) but he will be making sure to visibly wear it. He's not sure how one becomes God, but he does know a God is nothing without followers, so he'll just make sure to be a visible supporter. He's been reading while on the treadmill trying to figure out if they can just MAKE holy water, etc etc. He wasn't kidding when he offered for them to come home with him and Gold. So, he's just got to back up the offer with knocking down any roadblocks. Sorry he's like this. But yeah, loev C. Marked it as his. Good luck getting rid of him.

FOR THE GAME, ACTUALLY, NOT REALLY. He was playing to win and terrorize people, but also just sorting things logically and mechanically, no personal thoughts attached. The only thing weird he slightly regrets is putting Medusa/Kiyo as Unnerving (because NOW HE KNOWS HE'S WATCHING HIM), but it's because he suspects Medusa is dead since he wasn't present in Maki's later memories. He put silence as 'get closer to' mostly because she's one of his newest recruits and he just found out she's like dead so! CURIOSITY THERE. But mostly he was just filling the card to fill it.
Oh aside from Joker, he hates joker and put him as weak out of pettiness. He doesn't care where he himself placed on the sheets because he presents himself as a weak ratty gremlin so he isn't surprised by any of that.
That said, since the data is out there NOW he sure as hell is filing it away for use/intel later.

FAVORITE GAME: ONE NIGHT WEREWOLF/DEMON in which they all just played a yokai version of One Night Werewolf, and it was a little while after his hellventure, so he just had so much fucking fun playing a normal game for once. Also he got to lie a lot for fun he was so happy.
LEAST FAVORITE GAME: gaaaAAAwd, toss up between the Monster Game and the trial? probably the trial, because it forced their companions to be in the executioner role, drove a wedge in their unit, fueled a lot of spite, and during all this time B was disappearing?? -Accidentally ended up meeting Exael and having a girl talk in her apartment and stealing/eating a bunch of her food when he donated points for a Talk With the Host as we all oocly did not know anyone that donated over a certain amount would actually get to meet Exael in person whoops!! -During the DangerBear/Monster Cannibalism game C was the Heart of his team and got picked to be eaten! But because he's a dramatic fucko, he climbed on a plate and slit his own throat in front of loki and died.
-Haruto also suicided during this game so Haruto and C were the first suicides in Imeeji which TRIGGERED THE LILITH BAD END. C woke up in an alley full of bodies of other dead idols who were either killed or suicided and had given up. This is part of Azzy's realm and their bodies are used as playing chips in his casino.
-MET LILITH, TOOK A SELFIE AS HIS NECK BLED OUT. The price he paid for being revived is his head no longer being properly attached to his body, and he has a row of stitches/staples going around his neck to keep it on. he usually keeps it covered with his scarf. Also was like, dream-hell tortured for an unspecific amount of eternity so that happened
-Relentless harassed Deku/Mori and told him he'd never amount to anything and was worthless and was shocked that Mori told him off for it??? wow!! they didn't speak for like two ic weeks til C snapped and told Whisky to kidnap him and then C finaly apologized while hanging him upside down over a kiddie pool with a shark in it.
-Days later he made out with him out of spite in the Vid room because of a fanmail saying he hated him, said fan now sends him staple removers every month
-One time Phoenix chased him into an elevator and noogied him until he admitted he had feelings
-Went on a late night super safe train ride with Exael one night after the head explosion game to talk about Things and that's what got C to start convincing talon about a protection plan for teams
-During Hunger Games he did everything from drive around in a car with Mori and Duality bullshitting around, knocking out like 12 people with chloroform, tried to convince a HSS to murder someone who was knocked out with said chloroform, pit Zrael against Taisho, accidentally enable some ygo bullshit, and had to use Foresight to reverse time after Whisky sniped Duality in the head hunger games was a time

- For Silence it's Intensity and Shine!
The other day in another question meme plurk I said Silence wasn't that influenced by Intensity, but the more I think about it she kind of really is, oops. Take what's happened with her support for C, for example!! INTENSITY'S INFLUENCE AT THE BASE OF IT! And most significantly, after Left's balloon game as they lay there with Silence guilting herself and sad as fuck, Intensity drove the point home that he wanted everyone on fin to help make decisions which wound up giving Silence this motivation to just TAKE THE FUCKING WHEEL instead of submitting to the currents. He definitely pushed her out of her subservient phase and into a purposeful, motivated place?? His info-gathering ways also make her want to be resourceful in her own way, which is why she is studying people and taking notes WAY more intensely (ha ha) than any other Echo I've played.
Shine is a good mom and also Silence's best friend. He influences her in a softer way—he helps smooth her rough edges AND REALLY JUST HELPS HER "PERSON" BETTER. When Silence decided she wanted to rate everyone's attractiveness and tell them to their faces that they would all be 1s, Shine talked her through it like ARE YOU SURE... WOULD YOU FEEL BAD ABOUT HURTING THEIR FEELINGS... and she was like ACTUALLY, YEAH, I'D FEEL A LITTLE BAD SO MAYBE I WON'T because she values his take on things so much. He keeps her grounded and helps her explore FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCES which she's getting better with these days thanks to him. Also he teaches her slang, introduces her to casual conversation phrases that's helped her deal with people on a normal basis, and has her interested in motorcycles. And washing machines I guess!
HONORABLE MENTION: Angel because the value Angel places in people has, in a way, helped bring out Silence's innate core desire to see the good in people even faster than I expected.
- For Song it's probably Yvette. I really need to play this girl more, but it really is probably Yvette. By being so cool, calm, and pleasant, she has cast that net of influence over Song so easy. Yvette is cool! She is going to teach Song how to act! It will be great! I can easily see Song looking up to Yvette as a big sister of sorts and it's cute.
IF C COULD PICK ANY SIX POWERS FROM ALL OF THE UNITS TO MAKE HIS OWN UNIQUE POWER SET, what would he pick and why
THIS WAS HARD BECAUSE C LOVES EVERY ALCHEME POWER aside from megido. They fit his type SO WELL and he's very versatile with them, so most of them he wouldn't trade for anything. It took him a while to warm to to Foresight since he initially saw it as a Cheat and he hates cheating!!! BUT he's come around to it since he's realized he can just, reverse a fucking death if he needs to. IT'S NOT CHEATING IF A LEGITIMATE MOVE, I GUESS.
But if he had to pick 6 other powers, he'd pick: -Wild City's Frog Materia -Echo from Taisho for voice mimicry -Alternatively animal power from WC and just rip a magpie's ability for voice mimicry -FiN's Gadgeteer -Sensitiv's Feel so Numb/never feel pain -Who killed cock robin/disguise ability
These are all abilities that either aid him defensively or will keep people away, and that's how his mind works strategy wise. EVEN FIN, HE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO MELD SOMEONE'S SHOES TO THE GROUND and then run away.
Silence has come to REALLY appreciate FiN's skillset, but anyway she would pick abilities that'd generally outfit her for information gathering and taking care of others/herself.

MAKI..........C IS SO ??? ON MAKI RIGHT NOW. HE LIKED IT SO MUCH BETTER WHEN HE COULD TICK HER OFF, LAUGH, RUN OFF, RUN BACK AND HAVE A PROPER TWO MINUTE CONVERSATION, THEN RUN AWAY AGAIN!!
Peddling back a bit, C's always lowkey liked Maki? Way back when she and A first started getting close, he was mad jealous because that's, that's just how he is, petty little gremlin, how dare you not be my friend? Back then he did take some of her words/advice to heart, easing off on some of the things he said to A and generally slowly beginning to approach her as a person.
BUT THEN MEMORIES HAPPENED.
For every memory of Maki's C saw, the more he wanted to distance himself! He absolutely does not trust who they were back in canon, and that's why he'd always try to persuade her to give up on taking memories, thinking no good could come of it. Eventually for Reasons, most being that X EXISTS, he'd eventually pressure himself into taking memories too. A POOR IDEA as that just made him mentally spiral and distrust both X and Maki more too.
AND THEN CAME MAKI'S OUTBURST FOR THE CASE 5 which seemed, in C's pov, validate all his assumptions and fears so he decided to do what he does AND PLAY ALONG. For Maki, and X to an extent, he'd basically put a bunch of psyche locks on his social link and just assumed nothing could be gained from it. Maki's Live re FiN later didn't help that either.
THEN THEY HAD A TALK and C is just, Confused. In his opinion, the best thing for both of them would be to distance themselves and their pasts! He does not Get why Maki wants to keep trying, and is now far more on guard since Maki can see through some of his bullshit too. She's not someone he trusts so for her to know just how transparent he is is extremely!! Irritating!! He also doesn't appreciate that she thinks he's bluffing about becoming god, so that just makes him BLUFF MORE and her take him less seriously and gosh!! How dare???
As a slight aside he is also lowkey annoyed about how she's talked to B during/post the Live and is being petty about that too, since B is one of three people will he will be stan for, but B can handle himself so he's not said anything on it just yet. He also heard about her convo with Silver in dating game and he's just like, MAKI WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS.
So as of right now C is entirely unsure where he is with Maki and is like a cat walking on eggshells. He currently absolutely does not want to get close to her, and doesn't trust her to not betray him, or not hurt someone he loves for selfish reasons. He's willing to play nice just to AlcheMe it up, but inwardly is screaming because he can't distract her with his usual methods and as that's his primary defense, he feels way too exposed around her now.
If I ever get around to it he's gonna try to talk A into making out with her again in an attempt to distract her and get her off his case.
So as Maki somewhat said IC, she was mostly very confused and emotionally seesawing after her trial 5 memory. ON THE ONE HAND immediately after experiencing the memory firsthand she was still fresh from that emotional/mental state, in which she was VERY, VERY UPSET AND ANGRY and also VERY VERY SURE OUMA WAS THE MASTERMIND AND RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING AND SHE NEEDED TO KILL HIM IF IT WAS THE LAST THING SHE DID, WHICH IT WOULD BE. Which was... a lot. But in talking to people after, she ended up questioning that a lot more, because she actually... knows him a lot better in Imeeji than in canon, and while she still thinks he's extremely obnoxious and wouldn't call them friends, she still can't imagine him actually being the horrible sadistic mastermind. And a lot of stuff that was happening in that memory she didn't understand at all and couldn't even come up with a coherent theory about, so she was like... ??????
If C had done anything BUT immediately claim that it was the truth he was the mastermind etc etc, she probably would not have pulled a knife on him. However that is what he did. So she flipped out at him, because even though she still didn't really believe him, it made her upset and angry and basically tripped her back into the mental state she was in the memory.
Thinking about it more clearly later... She was still very confused. And she came to the conclusion that there was no way she could figure out what was going on, because she just didn't have enough information and neither C or X seemed interested in actually talking about it. She was emotionally at the end of her rope for a long list of other reasons as well, so she was basically like... "You know what, I probably can't make things any worse? I think I will just go tell C I'm over him being the mastermind and that if that didn't put me off, nothing is going to." Especially because she remembered the one time she really felt she had the upper hand with C was when she didn't ask him for anything, just told him she could read him. So it was intended mostly as a "hey guess what you can't mess with me or put me off anymore."
So she did that, and that went... way better than she expected? She wasn't expecting C to have taken any memories and she certainly wasn't expecting him to show her a bunch of stuff that actually gave her more information to work with. And she MOST certainly wasn't expecting him to act like she was actually extending an olive branch and asking to be friends, which she genuinely wasn't. So that all made her feel more like... C does actually want to find out what happened in their memories, that he has some questions and insecurity about who he was before the same as she does, and that he would actually like to be close with someone who can understand, he just doesn't know how/doesn't think she's that person. SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO MAKE ANY OF THAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN, but the fact that he has a desire for it is more than she thought before, so that's already made her more optimistic that their relationship isn't ruined forever somehow.
That said she still thinks he's a huge asshole. This is not actually a friendship dealbreaker, as many of her friends are assholes, but is DOES mean e.g. she's not actually sorry for menacing him with a knife because she thinks he deserved it (if you can't menace someone for claiming to have orchestrated an elaborate killing game that took out many of your friends, when can you), and that she gets very annoyed at people for acting like she is being mean but C is just being stupid.
LILIS - Quiet, mostly harmless, likely not living up to their full potential, needs to nab one as a minion.
SENSITIV - crazy fuckers that also probably cry a lot but could be put to use if someone could collar them proper but THAT AIN'T HIM while he has his neck in stitches. he's kinda wondering when anubis will blow up. very low trust but has no problem approaching and interacting with them.
peppep - generically peppy and good people! He reads them as mostly good but lowkey people but capable of being more crafty and cunning than you'd think. This is mostly colored by his bias to Pink, and Rise to an extent, since he knows B's sister is a bit more more than just a bubbly personality.
taisho - disjointed but capable of working together if need be, C doesn't have a strong overall impression of them and thinks they would be one of the first teams to utterly fall apart if pressed and doesn't really trust them to achieve anything in the long term. Really likes Fox and Shu tho.
bad end - HE HATES, BAD END SO MUCH, IT'S HILARIOUS. Or parts of Bad End at least. He loves 99, respects Silk, and thinks Thorn is Okay. In C's head Joker is the literal source of all his strife with A, and the reason A will never think to break free and become his own person/a person fully acclimated into Alcheme that C can dig his tendrils into. He also just thinks Joker is a general hot mess of a person that can't be trusted. He finds Tatsuya painfully dull and unable to grow and move out of his own self pity, Senpai colored himself as an ass in Maki's live, and all the others he barely registers as a blip on the radar. He did really like and respect Phoenix as well, but he was constantly frustrated with how TETHERED AlcheMe was to Bad End just because a few of them were fucking. He doesn't seek them out to do harm or anything, but if given the chance he would bus Bad End in a heart beat. While a tiiiiiny part of him that he won't admit is glad A is back, he was also super relieved during the brief time he was gone because they finally had no connection to Bad End any more.
HE HAS SUCH SEETHING RAGE its great.
Future Is Now - Most competent unit in Imeeji in his opinion; utterly respects Intensity, Angel is genuinely Good, Duality is a trusted friend, and Silence/Song is quickly proving her competence to him too. gonna side eye Medusa a bit but he figures he'll fit in just fine. He was also very fond of Sho and......shit i forgot her name THE WITCH GIRL THAT WAS HIS RIVAL
Wild City - [sunny in philly title card] Silver Tries to Fix Their Rep his opinion on WC wildly swings; he's very fond of Silver, Whisky, and Talon, but has low trust for Aries and Haruto, and the others barely register to him. Still tho, thats just them compared to other teams, he thinks as a tight knit unit, none of the others top Wild City. He thinks they all probably have stockholms but damn if it isn't working for them.
ZRAEL - crazy fuckers and the only team he feels zero remorse for when they bite the dust. He doesn't blame them for playing hard all the time, but because they do, he has no sympathy for them when it comes back to bite them. This feeling mostly escalated after Req CHOPPED MORI'S BODY INTO PIECES. He's a little salt. On an individual basis he doesn't mind chatting or hanging with most of them tho, and he does admire their perceived hivemind coherency, just also, fuck those guys.
HSS - General lowkey love, actually! C is extreeeemely fond of a chunk of HSS; Primrose, Eclipse, Hurricane, Mars, and he likes harassing King. Hiryuu rubs him the wrong way but he can recognize that she's Trying most of the time, and her hearts in the right place, so overall he views them as well meaning kids and thinks its really cruel for them to be dubbed the 'Heros' without having any ability or agency to act out that role like other teams. One of the few teams he would slot into his 'never hit' list if he could.
Alcheme - the best and worst team simultaneously, he both drinks the Brother koolaid and acknowledges that they all function more like coworker than family. Still super possessive and would strike someone down for them usually, unless said alcheme had it coming (they usually do)
Avante - kind of like lilis but more on High Alert because C knows they have the potential to be very dangerous if they ever snapped. He is mostly only attached to Gold and Nemesis to a lesser extent, and would kidnap Gold if he could. Fucking loves their outfit aesthetic.
Baritones - lowkey distrust because its a team of well versed and shady actual Adults. Hilariously he is on alert mostly because of Yvette of all people, because she immediately read as a liar type like him but possibly more experienced??? So he's just like, nope, not fucking with that. Keeps them at a distance though doesn't mind interacting if he has to. Mostly watches the rest of his unit deal with them.

How is Maki!! Does she still think Zrael is a far better situation for her than Taisho?
SHE DOES. She was talking to Req about it a little, and while there was definitely strife with ZRAEL it at least mostly felt like they all still had good intentions for each other and wanted to work through things, which is not something she felt a lot of the time with Taisho. And in some ways that's more of a relief than previously when there were just no problems, because that felt hard to believe and kind of like waiting for the other shoe to drop. But now the shoe has dropped, and it was not a GREAT shoe, but things are still generally pretty good!
She just had a good talk with Req who she clashed a lot with and there were a lot of hurt feelings on both sides, and they managed to talk through some stuff. She feels like she's gotten closer with Man Eater and Doodle lately and is more comfy around them than she ever was with anyone on Taisho. Pharaoh + Aradia she is less personally close with but she trusts they want the best for her/the unit. Albert is a little more dubious and Ashley is the big exception where she doesn't think she actually likes/cares about her at all, but 1.5 unitmates with tension out of 8 (or 9) is still way better than 3.5 unitmates out of 8 or whatever she was at with Taisho. SO. OVERALL GOOD.
What are C's thoughts on how AlcheME has changed with people gone / new members?
He's checked profiles so he Knows Korekiyo is a classmate, and also assumes he's PROBABLY DEAD since he wasn't present in Maki's case 5 memory. Whether he's a victim or a murderer is still a toss up, but C in general had a hard time trusting anyone from their background. For the most part he's going to tryyyy to reel in his bias and approach him, just cautiously; he's not really worried because damn, he's on Itensity's team, and Intensity can handle anything. It's just after dealing with Maki and X's memory drama, C is very wary about remembering more of canon right now.
that said I haven't given him any case 3 memories so JAZZ HANDS he has no idea what a nut Medusa can be!!
Overall he's being cautious, but interested! So far he's been fun to poke and tease, and really that's all C needs to kick off a relationship.
Funny, Medusa also isn't aware of how insane he can be.
That being said, since the only person he remembers is that nice detective boy, Medusa is judging C as a stranger... A stranger who is both ridiculous and somehow associated with someone he trusts? To be honest, C is more than a little irritating, but if Intensity trusts him then he'll do the same.
He'll just keep the guy at arm's length. Sort of. For now.
I was thinking of having Medusa's next memory be of that time Kaito lost at slots. You think that would be fun?
Actually yes! C has very very few memories of downtime in canon; he remembered some headcanon memories of chilling with Miu/being a menace with her but then immediately remembered oops he fucking got her killed!!
He'd still hate them as he hates all his memories but it'd be a good change of pace!
What's something you're excited to do with Medusa/Kiyo?
Since a lot of Korekiyo's identity is tied to his sister's... Influence, I went and left him as a blank slate. Turns out he's actually a lot nicer and more naive without his memories, but then again his view of the world and himself is still rather skewed. I want to see him develop in the company of his unit and the situation he is in before he starts taking in more important memories.
In the long run, I'm hoping he'll be able to see his whole mess of a past in a new light and decide what to make of it... For better or worse.
C FUKKIN ADORES ECLIPSE. He's easily, somehow, one of the people C can talk super casual about shit with, in a way more so than Silver and B??? Like he's not as vulnerable around Eclipse as he is with them, because he very much views him as a younger brother type and he's not the kind of person to unload all his issues on a kid.
BUT THAT SAID by virtue of Eclipse being from a darker, grittier more realistic world, C feels like they can have talks about darker/negative stuff without it being such a burden for either of them, since Eclipse kinda Gets It. He doesn't have to sugar coat things, and Eclipse, like B, can see through C's bullshit like a laser target. He doesn't really feel the need to be super fake at Eclipse like he does others, so he generally has his guard down by default around him.
The whole demon possession thing tho is A LITTLE WORRYING and C does lowkey hope Eclipse isn't like, stealth crazy, but he's not too worry about it. Eclipse has proven to have a decent head on his shoulder, so no matter what happens, he thinks he'll always be grounded (or can be). So yeah, C may not be at the point where he's willing to bear his soul like he is with the Twins or B, but he does feel like he can be so much more Real around Eclipse and put him close to the honorary little brother bubble.
ALSO BONUS M: RIVAL??? RIVAL!!1 This is something C has decided solely on his own and he loves the big brother vs little brother fight purely for entertainment. It's evolved from stubbornness to just a Thing now. Also very relieved M in general seems to be fairly competent so hey, A+ Alcheme

He hates the murder game memories! So much! And while by default he tries to keep it mostly to himself, the stuff he has told B was in fact relieving; especially due to the fact that he knows B knows what's Up from a different perspective from Silver, so he's far more relaxed with B calling out his bullshit and laughing at his villain act. It's just a nice reassurance that no matter what, his bond with B prooooobably won't break (which is something he was scared about with Silver/Gold/others, and why he was more hesitant to share with them).
So just that, reaffirmation that B will always be on his side (so far) is very grounding for him!! He is still HYPER PROTECTIVE especially knowing B is dead now, so while he doesn't have much faith in what happens to himself in the future, he will probably end up focusing all his energy in giving B a happy ending, somehow.
AS FOR BECOMING A GOD, some of it will depend on what Exael says (he is going to ask to confirm if they can go to different worlds if they're dead, since it's not ICly confirmed yet I think) but when I'm less dead he'll also be doing more Big Events and trying to draw more support to himself. Really the only thing stopping him is me being so fucking ooc busy.

Date: 2019-06-03 01:07 am (UTC)B is honestly so relieved about C dumping on him because he knows how much C keeps shit bottled up. And also that he's not being...sheltered? He knows sometimes people just want to shelter him and that can be annoying.
So he's so glad he and C are now in a place where C can really rely on him share everything, even his worst side. And likewise it opens the door for B to be more comfortable doing the same back and gives him more freedom to unload on C. Because it has to be an exchange to feel right to B.
NOW BEING DEAD IS. A weird numbing thing to think about that B can't focus on. If he does he has some sort of crisis about Not Existing Anymore and it's weird because he does currently exist??? Also sometimes fixating on the feeling of being shot in a weird way. B picks at scabs physically and emotionally so it's all stuff his mind drifts back to time to time without meaning to. It's frustrating and helpless and hopeless and he doesn't know what to think so he just tries to. Not.
But he wants a happy ending so badly that he just aches all over.

Exhausted all the time and it all feels hopeless and why is he trying when he could just keep his head down, stop doing lives, stop making friends, and live in his safety bubble where he doesn't have to worry about more than his handful of people.
But giving up means he no longer pretends to have agency so he clings onto doing stuff because its at least SOMETHING he can do.
Also like all the roleplay makeouts and sex with Gold. But he doesn't want to be gross or overwhelming so he is like no dont b. Like he's not this horny on other situations but Imeeji is just. Such a barren wasteland of comforts that physical affection ranks pretty high right now. He's WAY MORE CUDDLY in imeeji than canon. Cuz he's desperate for SOMETHING.

but aside from the bond and trust they've built up, C very quickly recognized, despite all his anime bullshit, B is probably. . .the most normal of Alcheme? Headspace-wise; it may be a tie between N and B. But B is young, and has simple desires. He wants a family! He wants people not to be hurt! He wants to have a boyfriend and play dumb games and draw! Simple, pure desires. C also sees B as a genuinely good person, and so far none of his memories have contradicted that. So for every horrible thing that happens, C just feels B doesn't deserve it. None of them do, of course, but for B especially! And in a way, C recognizes he wants all the same things that B does, but he's already decided he can't have them/doesn't deserve them, so might as well put his time and energy into making sure B gets them all in the end.
For the most part he's fairly lowkey with this? Since in public, C tries not to show how fucking attached he is to some people. It hasn't come up but he would do all in his power to get someone fucking murdered if they messed with B in the wrong way. He also generally tries to misdirect any bad vibes toward B to himself, since B is the Face of Alcheme in his opinion, so if C does something, he wants people to think "oh C is the bad child exception" and let B continue to save face.
HILARIOUSLY Mori's disappearance will make C even more protective and he'll try to even do more Good by B; he still feels really guilty for potentially wrecking Mori's chance with B, so all he can do to make it up is make sure B is as happy as possible.
Basically he's lowkey yan for B but thankfully nothing has really happened to set him off bad!!!

Date: 2019-06-03 03:14 am (UTC)So if Intensity takes over hell, C thinks he will either 1) hostile takeover and become the new Azzy. He doesn't think Intensity will stop hell from recruiting people, but does think he'll find a more efficient, less cruel method and that's a win in his eyes.
OR if he can't change the system, he trusts that Intensity will get the people out that matter, and at the very least, their cycle can conclude with as quickly as possible.
On C's end, if they both do end up accomplishing their goals, C is more than willing to offer a compromise to maintain balance. There are plenty of shitty people in the world that deserve damnation, so C will gladly kick some down there for him!!

That said, having a concrete goal is more than MOST PEOPLE have and he's certain the two can work together in cooperation without turning things into a complete garbage fire. And he also believes they're the ones who could make the hard choices and sacrifices possibly NEEDED for this sort of thing.
So it's all weird and fucked up but if anyone can do it it's them. That said: he rather they all have happy lives somewhere safe instead. But he knows...he knows...

Right now there aren't many differences between them aside from the fact that a good handful of people have crashed through his trust barrier with a fucking bulldozer, so C is far more willing to trust others and be slightly less pessimistic than his former self. He is still Worried though and some future memories will call into question just how stable he was even BEFORE the murder game because he may or may not have volunteered for this shit, jazz hands.

Unfortunately no matter how much Silver tries to get away from PR, he really can't at this point? And it's working out for him in keeping his life relativelyyyyyyyyyyyyyy peaceful.
Silver is just as much as a try-hard as Atsumu, if not more so by this point. If he wasn't exhausting himself with PR, it would be something else.

Anyway we have little to no information on their ~real selves~ and no confirmation as to how they ended up on the show! WERE THEY KIDNAPPED? DID THEY AUDITION? IT'S A MYSTERY. At the beginning of the game they all recognize the monokubs (presumably from watching the show), but two of them also remember being forcibly kidnapped/knocked out before their memories get wiped! Then at the end of the game we're told they're all actually crazy rapid fans of Dangan Ronpa and volunteered to be on the show! SO WHAT IS THE TRUTH
For my sanity I've decided on a decent medium; he was definitely aware of the show and probably even enjoyed it from a distance (like morbid curiosity of IF I WAS IN THIS SITUATION I'D DO X like watching cutthroat kitchen but instead of mystery baskets you watch kids die) but never wanted to be anywhere near it it! BUT OOPS GOT HIS ASS KIDNAPPED AND SIGNATURE FORGED TO BE ON IT jazz hands.
He likely wasn't much different personality wise since the memories they brainwashed them with were just supposed to have a placebo affect (SURE YOU'RE AN ULTIMATE SUPREME LEADER, ROLL WITH THAT), and also, even with being brainwashed, Ouma figured out very early that 1) their memories were fake and 2) this is a fucking show what the fuck are we doing here. All his big talk and villain persona are just something he made up himself to make himself more appealing to the audience and make the other students fear him so he could survive longer.
As for his gang and all even he eventually realizes they don't actually Exist he likely had something similar in the real world; whether it was an actual gang or just, a very enthusiastic dnd group is undecided yet. I remembered reading somewhere in the artbook that due to his school uniform he probably came from a fairly well off family before he fucked off to whatever, so that probably lends itself to why he embraces more outlandish things.
THAT ALL SAID he is definitely a nerd and super enjoys games more than anything,so his habit of lying and poker faces is probably all him and not a result of his brainwashing. He also is deliberately given a bunch of ygo refs so he's just, just a weird little nerd.

We don't know much about the twins parents? We do see the twins getting in trouble with the coach and stuff for fighting, but parents are never called or mentioned or ANYTHING despite it being clear disciplinary action is happening. We do know too that Atsumu, who is very hard to deter from stuff, can be immediately shut down just by implying it would make his grandmother sad. So, it's pretty clear in my opinion that Atsumu must be a massive grandma's boy.
Another couple things we know is that the twins live in the boonies of Hyogo prefecture, which is part of the Kansai region, and that the twins are pretty much self sufficient? From the glimpses of homelife we get to see in canon, it's pretty clear they are raising themselves; judging from meals/going out/discipline/seeing Kita's grandma at games but no one there for the twins/etc. It's my guess and I've been running with the idea that the twins must've been dumped off at grandma's while parents worked in a bigger city and now that they're teens, they basically just live on their own together maybe with grandma check ins or live with grandma.
Again, something we ACTUALLY know is that Atsumu has no friends throughout junior high. Once volleyball took over, he became a bit ruthless and blunt and hyper focused. We know twins actually started playing volleyball in grade school and that, even before volleyball took over, when they're seeing volleyball for the first time they are at the workshop sitting together STILL without friends and opting to talk about the other kids between themselves rather than approach other kids.
So, I've basically been running with both twins actually having grown up very socially awkward and co-dependent. There's a lot of allusions in canon that basically imply Atsumu never cared about being agreeable because he would always have Osamu. Yeah the allusions refer to Osamu always being there to receive his serves, but we know how sports manga are. Always being there for the ball means always being there for Atsumu. SO! Basically, Osamu, despite encouraging Atsumu to try to get along with other kids, sort've enabled Atsumu to be a dick. In the sense that, Atsumu trusts that no matter what he's like, Osamu will always be there for him so he doesn't need to play nice with others.
I know Ten agrees with me on the Osamu side of that too...Where Osamu is co-dependent on Atsumu. Osamu looks out for Atsumu, bullies Atsumu when others are too scared to in order to keep him in check, and generally calls Atsumu out on his bullshit. Taking care of/looking out for Atsumu is pretty clearly a big thing for Osamu and it has come up in Imeeji a couple times that Gold winds up feeling lost when he's not needed to look out for Silver.
In canon, with volleyball, we get to see that Osamu was actually naturally better at setting, but Atsumu was driven and worked hard and got better than Osamu. We don't see how they are with school work, but I run with the assumption that Osamu being a natural and Atsumu having to work hard applies to schoolwork too. And, with social stuff, we see that Osamu cares more about getting along with others, but pretty clearly works at it? So I've always run with Atsumu being a bit more of a natural at getting along with people, even if he doesn't CARE about getting along with others.
We see in canon that Atsumu expects more of Osamu than Osamu expects of himself. In canon we know Atsumu holds Osamu and everyone to the same standards he holds himself too and doesn't see those standards as odd. He clearly thinks Osamu and others are capable of what he is and I believe it's a weird mix of he doesn't think THAT highly of himself and that he does think VERY highly of others abilities; the main difference stated in canon is he just sincerely loves volleyball more than the others do, he has a passion they don't.
Inarizaki uses a LOT of intimidation tactics. They do very statement entrances, their banner and uniforms are very severe, they present themselves as very unified and controlled and confident, etc... One of the MAIN tactics they use is their big band. Which plays insanely loud and at this crazy rhythm that throws other teams off. The band KNOWS to shut up the second Atsumu goes to serve. And yet, despite being used to huge bands playing, all it takes is a couple fans cheering to distract him when he does serve and the other fans warn the two girls because not making noise when Atsumu serves is clearly a KNOWN thing. So, I definitely play it that Atsumu is very sensitive to noise and crowds. He can handle it for games, but he can't focus when there's noise.
SO:
1) Atsumu is a grandma's boy
2) Twins were raised by/live with grandma
3) Twins socially awkward because of having a built in friend and not needing other kids
4) Osamu is the natural at all things except socializing and Atsumu has to work hard at everything but does have a natural draw when it comes to people
5) Atsumu, despite being cocky, doesn't actually see himself as that amazing, even though he works incredibly hard
6) Atsumu is very sensitive to noise and crowds
7) Osamu/Atsumu headcanon that applies to Gold/Silver: Twins love amusement parks, crane games, checking out new vending machines, conbinis and designer shoes (waiting in line at shoe releases is fun)
Some Silver habits...
1) Repetition
Growing up we see him practicing alone a lot. And we see him having to do a lot of repetitive motions (tossing a ball and catching, bouncing a ball off a wall, etc). Muscle memory is a huge thing for Silver, so repetitive motions can be really calming for him. Things like braiding hair can be really calming for him after huge lives.
2) Music
Silver listens to music a lot when he's trying to be anti-social. He got headphones and a few non idol albums because if he's running and listening to music, people can't talk to him. However, he does just wind up listening to music to calm down too because it's a nice even volume constant noise that can blur out other noises.
3) Grooming
How social Silver is feeling can be pretty clear via what he's wearing. Sweats are a clear indicator he wants to be alone or just stick close to tinies/gold/wc. We get a lot of clear indicators in canon that the twins dress up to go out...but also around house are in sweats and in side stories can be seen in sweats bee-lining for kotatsu. Silver mostly dresses up for pr purposes, but on his own would honestly just live his best homebody sweats and sweatshirt life.
4) Plucking at fabric
Since Osamu was always the voice of reason/mom twin I have a feeling Atsumu held onto him a lot; his hand, his sleeve, etc So, subconsciously, Silver will pluck at people's clothes or try to hold onto their sleeves when he's feeling uneasy or uncomfortable or needy, etc.
Three things C is good at and three he's bad at. Things he wishes he was good at? Also C on his own appearance.

-Strategy/Games! He loves loves LOVES games and part of his character is a nod/shout out to YGO antagonists! He doesn't always play to win, and far more enjoys the experience overall, and will deliberately lose if it means a more fun game overall. That said, he looooves games that make him think (one of his favorite gifts is just, a puzzle, except it's nothing but a blank white puzzle!!) and he's generally good at plotting out steps far more ahead than necessary.
-Reading people/empathy! For as emotionally constipated as he is and his tendency to drive others away, he is generally pretty good at reading the mood and hyper aware of the feelings of others! Sometimes just so he can like....use it to his advantage and bully them, but USUALLY he will try to turn that on his head and offer some weird support, in a way.
-Cooking; he can actually cook just fine should he desire to do so, he's just very lazy and why cook something when someone could make it better?? or buy it! He doesn't have to combine weird shit but will do it anyway because he'll get bored otherwise.
BAD AT:
-Relying on others. He's smart, but sometimes too smart in that teenager way where he thinks he's superior to others and Only He Can Handle Shit. Never works out!!
-Sleeping, because Imeeji, which he's really annoyed about because sleeping is one of his favorite thing to do in canon, and one the top gifts you can give him is a hammock to nap in.
-trying new things. he falls into habits very, very easy, despite being overall creative. We know he's actually surprisingly fit; he's good at weaving and dodging and getting away from people, and even Maki acknowledges that he lied when he said he "doesn't know how to fight." (tho he's a noodle and would lose anyway). BUT he hates sweating and normal exercise, so any time the protag tries to get him to do any real exercise or like, drag him into the sun he's like "hahah wow this is awful BYE" it takes a lot to drag him out and get him to do something he doesn't want.
-headcanon wise i say he's pretty bad at animals; doesn't dislike them or anything, just neutral and has trouble reading animal body language that isn't obvious/common knowledge.
Appearance wise his tendency to look like a scrappy gremlin hobo is very deliberate. In canon we find out he actually loves bright colors and has some ridiculous eye searing orange/striped underwear, but he prefers being contradictory and a tease where no one can see. Why are you like this.
In general he dresses the way he does solely to get a reaction from others and likes seeing what impression he leaves. Same for when he does actually clean up proper, it's more about the reactions for him. He does a loooot of running around though, so outside of a school uniform, he's very comfortable in his hobo clothes. In canon its implied his uniform is basically meant to throw people of;: you wouldn't want to mess with someone in a straitjacket!! But also;;; he wears clown slippers with it. And a cape. But he canonly loves military style shit too. Pretty much if he loves something, he will wear the opposite of it, or mix and match it, whatever he thinks will draw people's eyes to him.
How is Silver right now??? Good because all his people are back?? What are his current goals now that things have stabilized?

That was a huge weight on his mind. He's of course got a lot of other things floating around in his mind, but he's trying not to worry about them and just focus on what he can do rather than what he can't. He's annoyed with the community as a whole, but there's no changing them, so he can't waste energy on caring about that. Same as he knows he can't force B and C to come home with him and Gold. All he can do is offer and keep on keeping on. He's trying to worry less since it's pretty clear him worrying winds up worrying everyone else. So. Less!!! Worry!!! Attempting anyways...
Other worries/thoughts right now: Destroy Lucifel (I joke) (But seriously he could scream over him putting the responsibility for keeping him in check and killing him on Talon), not being able to see people again after imeeji, what life is there for b and c after imeeji..., not being able to assimilate back into normal life after imeeji (a lot of after imeeji stuff apparently), Gold, the fact John has considered killing everyone on WC and may be close to a mental break of sorts, implication of repeating games (seriously doubts he'll be lucky enough to miss the house if it comes around again), etc.
Current goals: Keep storing away points (he's at about 13k rn) alongside his profile edit and azzy's card, possibly get exoskeleton ability since everyone is weird about bloodlessness, more lives (once he recovers from bug debate live), teach Plover to read, help B with his studies in case he does wind up coming with them so he can go to the same school and grade level, try to do some self help and healing re: fixing shit this place has done to him so its not a lasting effect (anxiety and fears being the main ones), do fun!!! things!!! with!!! the!!! boys!!!!, still reading the book he heard the demons discussing in Azzy's level
CR Update and talk to me about how you expected C might evolve in game versus how he actually evolved, how would C settle in (or not) if he did wind up going home with twins and B? Are there any other worlds he has considered going to?

He's gotten far more comfortable doing so with B, though getting there was a ride itself (he tricked B into taking a selfie only to steal his phone when he did in order to confirm he'd been buying memories and eventually B told him he was dead. ALCHEME!1) BUT between all the canon memories and maki losing her shit and he and X not having any damn idea what's going on, he was just, having a Time.
And aside from Maki and X dragging him kicking and screaming back to canon memory trauma, for the first time in a long while he was feeling actual guilt! over things said and done in imeeji!! He has no idea how to stop Talon's 'go to hell an save everyone' train, and Mori leaving just made him feel awful, since he never properly apologized for all psychological bullying and gaslighting. On top of that he knows his very existence and penchant to just be..him, combined with canon shenanigans, stresses out B, and he knows the twins have their own shit going on!! He doesn't want to add to it! He wants to appear strong and have his shit together! HE HAS HIS SHIT SO TOGETHER!!!
Except he doesn't and it's been weighing on him like hell. He puts a lot of effort into trying to lowkey listen and help others, but he's at a point where he can't realistically keep doing that AND keep up his charade, and he's increasingly frustrated/annoyed/ashamed that more and more people are seeing through him.
THEN HERE COMES SILVER. The twins have always been a Calming force where C can just, catch his breath for a minute, but again, he doesn't really enjoy putting any burdens on them. Silver specifically dunked on him and scored a critical hit by declaring they were all best friends which was very ???? to C overall. Like, he considers everyone he likes as a lowkey friend, but he assumes he is not THEIR friend, and is perfectly okay with that. You don't have to be friends with someone to care for them and/or manipulate them or recruit them into your gang slash cult!! IT'S FINE. He's just so used to keeping that distance, and he still doesn't remember his canon gang yet, so as far as he knows, he's always just been Alone, but people seeking.
So to have someone he does actually trusts actually proclaim they're legiitmate friends was a bit math meme to him but it also made him feel so good?? A FRIEND...ACTUAL FRIEND...NOT BUSINESS PARTNER OR BROTHER, JUST, A FRIEND. He's friends with Duality and Mori and Eclipse too of course, but he puts them on different levels. Utterly loves them!! But figures when time is up he'll fade out of their memories, and vice versus.
Which is ideally what he'd want for Gold and Silver too!!! They had some good times! JUST FORGET ABOUT ME. He wants nothing more than Gold, Silver, and B to live out their lives somewhere safe and happy and normal and to also just forget about him because he's pretty sure he won't be able to follow. He's ready to cut ties! Or so he thought! Since memory loss showed him, oh no, ACTUALLY, I WANT THIS, I WANT FRIENDS, THEY ARE MINE?? HOW DARE YOU. Possessive lowkey yan little gremlin, and he's mad at himself that he let himself get in so deep with attachment.
And now that they have reached BESTIE STATUS, that put even more pressure on C to not want to emotion dump on them, and thus he is just in a cycle of stupid stubbornness, which is why he literally laid face down on the platform during the balloon game. JUST TAKE ME ALREADY, WORLD. But again for twins, there's a level of trust there he doesn't have with others, and since Silver is so vulnerable with him, C eventually figured it's only fair that he open up more, too.
It also helps that Silver just called him the fuck out on his liar face bullshit, nothing to be done about that!!
Ramble ramble BASICALLY C's had to do a bunch of mental gymnastics but he's pretty much ready to be far more open with Silver than before, now that his emotional gauntlet has been destroyed. And he's glad for it too! He doesn't need to reel himself in around Silver, they're both catty and bitchy and have a tendency for manic impulses and are the worst enablers at times. He loves it!! There are still some things he's cautious about dropping (HEY SILVER WANNA HEAR ABOUT DEATH VIA TOILET PAPER STRANGULATION ALSO GUESS HOW FAST PIRANHAS CAN EAT A DEAD BODY) but he is going to try to be less liar face around him. Try being the keyword, it's so ingrained in him.
As for post imeeji, if he can't become a god, his plan is to just fucking die 8'D he doesn't know if he's dead or not yet, but highly suspects it, and either way, he still doesn't think it's his right to just, insert himself into the normal life of someone else. If he did go though, he honestly wouldn't have much trouble fitting in? Whether he remembers his True Self or not, he's very self sufficient and a very good actor. He can play the role of normal boy for a good while before metaphorically setting something on fire. Or literal fire, who knows. He also has actual school experience, unlike B. He'd....probably be a mental mess for a while due to having an existential crisis of memory inception but FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT.
Ideally, lowkey he'd like to be able to dimension hop without becoming a demon; he'd love to see E and Mori again, but fuck staying there. Birds and crazy super humans?? No thank u.
As for how C could have developed, Ari super talked me into apping because up til now I'd never played anyone who really Clicked with Kano, and I thought well hey, might as well give it a shot!! I DID NOT...THINK HE'D END UP SO CODEPENDENT. It's been very new and very fun. I knew I wanted to play him as an asshole too so I'm delighted that he's been able to reel some of that in and actually like, form legitimate connections with people! I was worried he'd be TOO shallow/liar face, but haha!!
Hilariously, I wasn't married to the idea of Alcheme and Wild City was the runner up choice on my app. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY DIFFERENT and I doubt he and Kano would become as close as they are now. They'd probably hate each other, sob.

As much as he loev C and B, he knows his presence on Alceme would probably??? be very??? stressful??? He at least knows he wouldn't be able to change their play style of rolling over and dying.
Other units...he couldn't really handle? No other unit is as tight knit as WC and he wouldn't be able to swap loyalties that fast. He'd feel uncomfortable as the new comer to a different team because he'll have lost his seniority/say/ability to protect Gold. He would do his best to claw back to the top and get his way, especially since he wouldn't be sincerely invested in a new teams feelings the way he is WC's. He doesn't see himself really fitting in with any other team at this point? If asked, he really couldn't picture it.
Obviously Silver himself is PRETTY DAMN STOCKHOLM'D to Wild City. And they adore him back. He knows him being off unit would be very stressful for THEM because they won't want to hit whatever team he's on, not to mention it would be stressful for HIM because he wouldn't be sure how damn rough Wild City would play without him there to temper them. So whatever his selfish feelings are aside, there is a concern??? for the community involved in this too (even if he and B are in 'the community doesnt deserve our hard work' club).
His first instinct would be to switch right back onto WC! But...He's trying to hoard his resources, so he'd be really loathe to use his profile edit to switch back....especially because there's always the chance they could just....swap him AGAIN. So, initially, he may wait and see how he feels and what WC does in response.
I'll do CR when I wake up, but for now...how DO you think C would have been if he had wound up on WC? Who would he be close to, who wouldn't he be close to, how would it change his personality and goals in imeeji, what powers would he like best, who would he be closest to on team, how would be handle WC's early on play style and such?

He'd still default to doing it, just because it's him, but he would have had a longer open window of 'real'ness to him, in a way. But he'd immediately just accept the role and honestly now thinking about it, with WC's initial lives of non-verbal communication he'd be a horrible mime gremlin and in people's personal space EVEN MORE. But he'd also be a little less chatty as a deliberate choice, just to make people uncomfortable. You gotta work with what you're given!!!
Also, assuming the team was nearly the same as it is now, while he is innately, at his core, a pacifist, he would absolutely encourage the team to play hard and be positive when they do so despite hating it deep down. It's what the producers want, and it stops THEM from eating shit so much, so gotta roll with it!! Even on AlcheMe as he is now, he actually is not against playing hard, and will absolutely do so if he thinks a Time Has Come. Just so far, IC, there has never been a moment where voluntarily playing hard has had pros outweigh the cons. AlcheMe eats shit a good bit, but not nearly as much as other teams, so! Swapping that mentality to Wild City's case, C would have assessed their popularity and insular nature, and ruled that playing hard far more benefits them than not, so he wouldn't be nearly as fussed about it.
He proooobably would still get attached to Silver? It could swing wildly either way; either he'd get hyper attached and overly codependent and unhealthily possessive over Silver (and possibly Talon, maybe Haruto??), or he would like them all evenly but keep them at a distance, since his base person is far different than most of Wild City's standard. He would absolutely HATE B and all of Alcheme, because he canonly hates other liars/people like him. The only reason he loves Alcheme now is because he is one of them.
POWER WISE my top three animals for him were: pony, snake, and bat/crow. Pony because horses are his theme animal, and they've got a general good range for someone who is as paranoid and defensive as he is (weird 360 vision, great hearing, speed, jumping, etc). Also i would have used mlp friendship is magic icons for his theme animal and no one could stop me.
Bat and crow because at first I liked bat so he could get wings and pretend to be a demon, but I'd lean more to crow/magpie because it fits him way better AND he'd have great vision, flight, and the ability to mimic voices which would just be hell for some people.
AND SNAKE BECAUSE LYING SNAKE that's literally it i didn't think hard on that one i just love the aesthetic.
Generally power wise, WC's set very much mimics the ones he uses most for Alcheme! Want to shrink?? JUST TURN INTO A TINY ANIMAL. Get shrunk?? TURN INTO AN ELEPHANT. He would abuse the animal power so much and there would just be a horse sleeping on someone's table. As long as he has a skillset that lets him Escape, he's happy.
He probably would still do the whole 'join my gang' bit, but he'd have no grander schemes for becoming a god, and would just be resigned to dying when his time in Imeeji was up. Probably would be a liiittle more receptive to becoming a demon though.
So tl;dr WC Ouma would be EVEN MORE of a violence instigator, still think he's a terrible awful person, and probably would be on a path to hell unless someone pulled him out of it, oops!! And the C & B bromance would never be 8'(

So, no surprise, Silver loev C too. Despite starting out firmly classified as "Gold's", Silver hasn't been able to help getting attached to C. As you might've seen with Yvette and Prim, once Gold classified them as "Silvers" friends, he put up a bit of a block between them. For C it as much the same where, as "Golds", Silver was resistant from befriending C truly himself. However, that didn't work out as planned and C is currently the only person he can comfortably talk to about most things. He talks to Gold and B about a LOT, but certain things are harder to talk to them about because 1) he doesn't want to depress them more or 2) cause them to stress out; plus talking to Gold about Gold is kinda, you know, hard if they're fighting. He talks to Wild City about a lot, but they're all VERY Silver biased; to the point that many of them say he can do no wrong. And even though he knows C stresses and is biased too, C at least can turn it off long enough to give real input; Mr. "no such thing as a bad connection".
THAT SAID, one of the main "updates" is just that more than ever he wants to return the favor. He wants C to be able to unload on him the way he unloads on C. He knows what a relief it can be to have someone to talk to that you know won't judge you and will just LISTEN and give their input without letting biases and worries color or sway the advice given. Or even just having someone to listen. He's done his best to convey, no matter what fucked up thing C may say or do, he'll accept it in stride and not suddenly disappear. IF HE CAN ACCEPT WILD CITY, HE CAN SURE AS HELL ACCEPT WHATEVER SHIT C HITS HIM WITH. There's also the fact that Silver doesn't even like perfectly "nice" people, since he himself has petty, bitchy tendencies. At his core, Silver sees C as good without being self righteous, nice without being naive and baseless, strategic and a realist while still managing to pull of fun and whimsical. Even the negative traits he's seen he either is chill with or relates to, so he's pretty sure C is vibrating in his skin just as much as Silver...he's just a better actor.
Plus..pluuuuuus......a part of it is selfishly wanting to see all sides of "C". All of them are important to him, even when C is trying to be "annoying". C is a bundle of contradictions and it's interesting. He's been laying down all his cards first because he knows he has to lead by example. Despite having a normal life, Silver really hasn't??? had a friend before??? Let alone a best friend (other than Gold, but Gold gets his own category)??? So he's just kinda deciding for himself and running with it what that entails. When it comes to things that matter to him, Silver is possessive, hardworking and a completionist. So why would friendship be any different?
Since day one Silver has been weird about using the friend word or making friends in general. He takes a long time to let people in, even longer to feel close to them, and even LONGER to actually in his sincere mind palace call them a friend. Part of it is due to memories about not being liked/not having friends and running with it, but he's also just naturally skittish about being close to people other than Gold.BUT NOW THAT HE'S HERE, GOOD LUCK GETTING RID OF HIS STUBBORN ASS.
He wanted to put C as friend on the kissing game submission sheet to show C publically that HEY. I mean it! You're my best friend! When he tried to fill the "closer to" section though, he really....doesn't....in general want to get closer to other people? He doesn't really want the complication of getting closer to people outside of the small circle he's wound up with. He wants to be able to get along with Coyote and Plover better, but he didn't want misunderstandings if he put them down there. So, to ensure the newbies felt cared about and welcome, since he knew there was a distance between them, he put them as friend and C as "closer to". Which, like I said, isn't wrong! Possessive sports boy is possessive and would crawl all over C if it wasn't for the fact that's kind of hard to do when he's a foot taller and a solid 70 lbs heavier.
Another major update as of late is Silver is basically on a mini mission to fix C's neck. At the current time he's mostly focused on hoarding resources (profile edit, Azzy's card, 17k points) and supporting C in his God efforts. He has started to and will continue to include checker print in all his lives; it was on the pet brushes for the animal crimes live, it'll be on the bowties and ears for the bunny bar, it'll be on the circus tent for lion tamer, etc etc.. He's always carried the bandana C gave him (usually tied to his ever present duffel bag) but he will be making sure to visibly wear it. He's not sure how one becomes God, but he does know a God is nothing without followers, so he'll just make sure to be a visible supporter. He's been reading while on the treadmill trying to figure out if they can just MAKE holy water, etc etc. He wasn't kidding when he offered for them to come home with him and Gold. So, he's just got to back up the offer with knocking down any roadblocks. Sorry he's like this. But yeah, loev C. Marked it as his. Good luck getting rid of him.

The only thing weird he slightly regrets is putting Medusa/Kiyo as Unnerving (because NOW HE KNOWS HE'S WATCHING HIM), but it's because he suspects Medusa is dead since he wasn't present in Maki's later memories. He put silence as 'get closer to' mostly because she's one of his newest recruits and he just found out she's like dead so! CURIOSITY THERE. But mostly he was just filling the card to fill it.
Oh aside from Joker, he hates joker and put him as weak out of pettiness. He doesn't care where he himself placed on the sheets because he presents himself as a weak ratty gremlin so he isn't surprised by any of that.
That said, since the data is out there NOW he sure as hell is filing it away for use/intel later.
All kisses were fairly going through the motions for him EXCEPT Pink's, because Pink made the mistake of trying to restrain/challenge him so C had to go and make it as weird as possible til Pink tapped out. FOOLISH
Worst kiss was Hiryuu for the same reason, but with different context. So it was C who tapped out as soon as she grabbed at his hair, because haHA you ain't got the social link or trust to try that on him. So he noped out and twirled away.

It put a member of Wild City in a LOT of danger against a real threat from back home. Whereas the community wasn't out of game in danger of Aries. Which is just fueling more of Silver's distaste for the "community".
The thing that really rubs him wrong about this is AGAIN it seems like it's okay for everyone EXCEPT for Wild City to pull any kind of stunt. -Haruto also suicided during this game so Haruto and C were the first suicides in Imeeji which TRIGGERED THE LILITH BAD END. C woke up in an alley full of bodies of other dead idols who were either killed or suicided and had given up. This is part of Azzy's realm and their bodies are used as playing chips in his casino.
-MET LILITH, TOOK A SELFIE AS HIS NECK BLED OUT. The price he paid for being revived is his head no longer being properly attached to his body, and he has a row of stitches/staples going around his neck to keep it on. he usually keeps it covered with his scarf. Also was like, dream-hell tortured for an unspecific amount of eternity so that happened

The other day in another question meme plurk I said Silence wasn't that influenced by Intensity, but the more I think about it she kind of really is, oops. Take what's happened with her support for C, for example!! INTENSITY'S INFLUENCE AT THE BASE OF IT! And most significantly, after Left's balloon game as they lay there with Silence guilting herself and sad as fuck, Intensity drove the point home that he wanted everyone on fin to help make decisions which wound up giving Silence this motivation to just TAKE THE FUCKING WHEEL instead of submitting to the currents. He definitely pushed her out of her subservient phase and into a purposeful, motivated place?? His info-gathering ways also make her want to be resourceful in her own way, which is why she is studying people and taking notes WAY more intensely (ha ha) than any other Echo I've played.
Shine is a good mom and also Silence's best friend. He influences her in a softer way—he helps smooth her rough edges AND REALLY JUST HELPS HER "PERSON" BETTER. When Silence decided she wanted to rate everyone's attractiveness and tell them to their faces that they would all be 1s, Shine talked her through it like ARE YOU SURE... WOULD YOU FEEL BAD ABOUT HURTING THEIR FEELINGS... and she was like ACTUALLY, YEAH, I'D FEEL A LITTLE BAD SO MAYBE I WON'T because she values his take on things so much. He keeps her grounded and helps her explore FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCES which she's getting better with these days thanks to him. Also he teaches her slang, introduces her to casual conversation phrases that's helped her deal with people on a normal basis, and has her interested in motorcycles. And washing machines I guess!
HONORABLE MENTION: Angel because the value Angel places in people has, in a way, helped bring out Silence's innate core desire to see the good in people even faster than I expected.
- For Song it's probably Yvette. I really need to play this girl more, but it really is probably Yvette. By being so cool, calm, and pleasant, she has cast that net of influence over Song so easy. Yvette is cool! She is going to teach Song how to act! It will be great! I can easily see Song looking up to Yvette as a big sister of sorts and it's cute.

Way back when she and A first started getting close, he was mad jealous because that's, that's just how he is, petty little gremlin, how dare you not be my friend? Back then he did take some of her words/advice to heart, easing off on some of the things he said to A and generally slowly beginning to approach her as a person.
BUT THEN MEMORIES HAPPENED.
For every memory of Maki's C saw, the more he wanted to distance himself! He absolutely does not trust who they were back in canon, and that's why he'd always try to persuade her to give up on taking memories, thinking no good could come of it. Eventually for Reasons, most being that X EXISTS, he'd eventually pressure himself into taking memories too. A POOR IDEA as that just made him mentally spiral and distrust both X and Maki more too.
AND THEN CAME MAKI'S OUTBURST FOR THE CASE 5 which seemed, in C's pov, validate all his assumptions and fears so he decided to do what he does AND PLAY ALONG. For Maki, and X to an extent, he'd basically put a bunch of psyche locks on his social link and just assumed nothing could be gained from it. Maki's Live re FiN later didn't help that either.
THEN THEY HAD A TALK and C is just, Confused. In his opinion, the best thing for both of them would be to distance themselves and their pasts! He does not Get why Maki wants to keep trying, and is now far more on guard since Maki can see through some of his bullshit too. She's not someone he trusts so for her to know just how transparent he is is extremely!! Irritating!! He also doesn't appreciate that she thinks he's bluffing about becoming god, so that just makes him BLUFF MORE and her take him less seriously and gosh!! How dare???
As a slight aside he is also lowkey annoyed about how she's talked to B during/post the Live and is being petty about that too, since B is one of three people will he will be stan for, but B can handle himself so he's not said anything on it just yet. He also heard about her convo with Silver in dating game and he's just like, MAKI WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS.
So as of right now C is entirely unsure where he is with Maki and is like a cat walking on eggshells. He currently absolutely does not want to get close to her, and doesn't trust her to not betray him, or not hurt someone he loves for selfish reasons. He's willing to play nice just to AlcheMe it up, but inwardly is screaming because he can't distract her with his usual methods and as that's his primary defense, he feels way too exposed around her now.
If I ever get around to it he's gonna try to talk A into making out with her again in an attempt to distract her and get her off his case.

Date: 2019-06-03 03:25 am (UTC)If C had done anything BUT immediately claim that it was the truth he was the mastermind etc etc, she probably would not have pulled a knife on him. However that is what he did. So she flipped out at him, because even though she still didn't really believe him, it made her upset and angry and basically tripped her back into the mental state she was in the memory.
Thinking about it more clearly later... She was still very confused. And she came to the conclusion that there was no way she could figure out what was going on, because she just didn't have enough information and neither C or X seemed interested in actually talking about it. She was emotionally at the end of her rope for a long list of other reasons as well, so she was basically like... "You know what, I probably can't make things any worse? I think I will just go tell C I'm over him being the mastermind and that if that didn't put me off, nothing is going to." Especially because she remembered the one time she really felt she had the upper hand with C was when she didn't ask him for anything, just told him she could read him. So it was intended mostly as a "hey guess what you can't mess with me or put me off anymore."
So she did that, and that went... way better than she expected? She wasn't expecting C to have taken any memories and she certainly wasn't expecting him to show her a bunch of stuff that actually gave her more information to work with. And she MOST certainly wasn't expecting him to act like she was actually extending an olive branch and asking to be friends, which she genuinely wasn't. So that all made her feel more like... C does actually want to find out what happened in their memories, that he has some questions and insecurity about who he was before the same as she does, and that he would actually like to be close with someone who can understand, he just doesn't know how/doesn't think she's that person. SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO MAKE ANY OF THAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN, but the fact that he has a desire for it is more than she thought before, so that's already made her more optimistic that their relationship isn't ruined forever somehow.
That said she still thinks he's a huge asshole. This is not actually a friendship dealbreaker, as many of her friends are assholes, but is DOES mean e.g. she's not actually sorry for menacing him with a knife because she thinks he deserved it (if you can't menace someone for claiming to have orchestrated an elaborate killing game that took out many of your friends, when can you), and that she gets very annoyed at people for acting like she is being mean but C is just being stupid.
C'S THOUGHTS ON ALL THE UNITS

Date: 2019-06-04 02:28 am (UTC)SENSITIV - crazy fuckers that also probably cry a lot but could be put to use if someone could collar them proper but THAT AIN'T HIM while he has his neck in stitches. he's kinda wondering when anubis will blow up. very low trust but has no problem approaching and interacting with them.
peppep - generically peppy and good people! He reads them as mostly good but lowkey people but capable of being more crafty and cunning than you'd think. This is mostly colored by his bias to Pink, and Rise to an extent, since he knows B's sister is a bit more more than just a bubbly personality.
taisho - disjointed but capable of working together if need be, C doesn't have a strong overall impression of them and thinks they would be one of the first teams to utterly fall apart if pressed and doesn't really trust them to achieve anything in the long term. Really likes Fox and Shu tho.
bad end - HE HATES, BAD END SO MUCH, IT'S HILARIOUS. Or parts of Bad End at least. He loves 99, respects Silk, and thinks Thorn is Okay. In C's head Joker is the literal source of all his strife with A, and the reason A will never think to break free and become his own person/a person fully acclimated into Alcheme that C can dig his tendrils into. He also just thinks Joker is a general hot mess of a person that can't be trusted. He finds Tatsuya painfully dull and unable to grow and move out of his own self pity, Senpai colored himself as an ass in Maki's live, and all the others he barely registers as a blip on the radar. He did really like and respect Phoenix as well, but he was constantly frustrated with how TETHERED AlcheMe was to Bad End just because a few of them were fucking. He doesn't seek them out to do harm or anything, but if given the chance he would bus Bad End in a heart beat. While a tiiiiiny part of him that he won't admit is glad A is back, he was also super relieved during the brief time he was gone because they finally had no connection to Bad End any more.
HE HAS SUCH SEETHING RAGE its great.
Future Is Now - Most competent unit in Imeeji in his opinion; utterly respects Intensity, Angel is genuinely Good, Duality is a trusted friend, and Silence/Song is quickly proving her competence to him too. gonna side eye Medusa a bit but he figures he'll fit in just fine. He was also very fond of Sho and......shit i forgot her name THE WITCH GIRL THAT WAS HIS RIVAL
Wild City - [sunny in philly title card] Silver Tries to Fix Their Rep his opinion on WC wildly swings; he's very fond of Silver, Whisky, and Talon, but has low trust for Aries and Haruto, and the others barely register to him. Still tho, thats just them compared to other teams, he thinks as a tight knit unit, none of the others top Wild City. He thinks they all probably have stockholms but damn if it isn't working for them.
ZRAEL - crazy fuckers and the only team he feels zero remorse for when they bite the dust. He doesn't blame them for playing hard all the time, but because they do, he has no sympathy for them when it comes back to bite them. This feeling mostly escalated after Req CHOPPED MORI'S BODY INTO PIECES. He's a little salt. On an individual basis he doesn't mind chatting or hanging with most of them tho, and he does admire their perceived hivemind coherency, just also, fuck those guys.
HSS - General lowkey love, actually! C is extreeeemely fond of a chunk of HSS; Primrose, Eclipse, Hurricane, Mars, and he likes harassing King. Hiryuu rubs him the wrong way but he can recognize that she's Trying most of the time, and her hearts in the right place, so overall he views them as well meaning kids and thinks its really cruel for them to be dubbed the 'Heros' without having any ability or agency to act out that role like other teams. One of the few teams he would slot into his 'never hit' list if he could.
Alcheme - the best and worst team simultaneously, he both drinks the Brother koolaid and acknowledges that they all function more like coworker than family. Still super possessive and would strike someone down for them usually, unless said alcheme had it coming (they usually do)
Avante - kind of like lilis but more on High Alert because C knows they have the potential to be very dangerous if they ever snapped. He is mostly only attached to Gold and Nemesis to a lesser extent, and would kidnap Gold if he could. Fucking loves their outfit aesthetic.
Baritones - lowkey distrust because its a team of well versed and shady actual Adults. Hilariously he is on alert mostly because of Yvette of all people, because she immediately read as a liar type like him but possibly more experienced??? So he's just like, nope, not fucking with that. Keeps them at a distance though doesn't mind interacting if he has to. Mostly watches the rest of his unit deal with them.
IS THAT EVERYONE? I THINK SO.....
How is Maki!! Does she still think Zrael is a far better situation for her than Taisho?

Date: 2019-06-06 07:41 am (UTC)She just had a good talk with Req who she clashed a lot with and there were a lot of hurt feelings on both sides, and they managed to talk through some stuff. She feels like she's gotten closer with Man Eater and Doodle lately and is more comfy around them than she ever was with anyone on Taisho. Pharaoh + Aradia she is less personally close with but she trusts they want the best for her/the unit. Albert is a little more dubious and Ashley is the big exception where she doesn't think she actually likes/cares about her at all, but 1.5 unitmates with tension out of 8 (or 9) is still way better than 3.5 unitmates out of 8 or whatever she was at with Taisho. SO. OVERALL GOOD.
What are C's thoughts on how AlcheME has changed with people gone / new members?

Date: 2019-06-03 11:05 am (UTC)He's checked profiles so he Knows Korekiyo is a classmate, and also assumes he's PROBABLY DEAD since he wasn't present in Maki's case 5 memory. Whether he's a victim or a murderer is still a toss up, but C in general had a hard time trusting anyone from their background. For the most part he's going to tryyyy to reel in his bias and approach him, just cautiously; he's not really worried because damn, he's on Itensity's team, and Intensity can handle anything. It's just after dealing with Maki and X's memory drama, C is very wary about remembering more of canon right now.
that said I haven't given him any case 3 memories so JAZZ HANDS he has no idea what a nut Medusa can be!!
Overall he's being cautious, but interested! So far he's been fun to poke and tease, and really that's all C needs to kick off a relationship.

A stranger who is both ridiculous and somehow associated with someone he trusts? To be honest, C is more than a little irritating, but if Intensity trusts him then he'll do the same.
He'll just keep the guy at arm's length. Sort of. For now.
I was thinking of having Medusa's next memory be of that time Kaito lost at slots. You think that would be fun?

Date: 2019-06-04 04:44 am (UTC)Have his past come back to haunt himSince a lot of Korekiyo's identity is tied to his sister's... Influence, I went and left him as a blank slate. Turns out he's actually a lot nicer and more naive without his memories, but then again his view of the world and himself is still rather skewed. I want to see him develop in the company of his unit and the situation he is in before he starts taking in more important memories.
In the long run, I'm hoping he'll be able to see his whole mess of a past in a new light and decide what to make of it... For better or worse.
What about you? Got any goals for C/Kokichi?

Date: 2019-06-04 02:48 am (UTC)BUT THAT SAID by virtue of Eclipse being from a darker, grittier more realistic world, C feels like they can have talks about darker/negative stuff without it being such a burden for either of them, since Eclipse kinda Gets It. He doesn't have to sugar coat things, and Eclipse, like B, can see through C's bullshit like a laser target. He doesn't really feel the need to be super fake at Eclipse like he does others, so he generally has his guard down by default around him.
The whole demon possession thing tho is A LITTLE WORRYING and C does lowkey hope Eclipse isn't like, stealth crazy, but he's not too worry about it. Eclipse has proven to have a decent head on his shoulder, so no matter what happens, he thinks he'll always be grounded (or can be). So yeah, C may not be at the point where he's willing to bear his soul like he is with the Twins or B, but he does feel like he can be so much more Real around Eclipse and put him close to the honorary little brother bubble.
ALSO BONUS M: RIVAL??? RIVAL!!1 This is something C has decided solely on his own and he loves the big brother vs little brother fight purely for entertainment. It's evolved from stubbornness to just a Thing now. Also very relieved M in general seems to be fairly competent so hey, A+ Alcheme
